Roots of the North Album

This collection of songs represents the varied vocal and musical styles of a great selection of artists and performers who all hail from the North East. It is a combination of artists who have made their millions - and artists who still perform to make a living.

What we have here is a personal selection which spans 40 years of watching and listening to these performers around the world, from North East social clubs, major tour venues, cabaret clubs and unique rock venues.

I believe that this is our heritage of popular music and it needs to be aired to every generation of both music lovers and collectors alike.
